The global tapestry of shared human history and ecological wonder has received new recognition. During a session of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Committee in Busan, South Korea, several of the world’s most culturally significant and ecologically vital landscapes were officially inscribed onto the World Heritage List. This prestigious designation acknowledges their outstanding universal value and commits the international community to their long-term preservation.
